Bethenny Frankel Used To Be Elizabeth Hurley’s Waitress

Bethenny Frankel has reportedly been given a lackluster guest list on her talk show, Bethenny, but judging by her most recent guest, that doesn’t appear to be completely true. Earlier this week, the former housewife welcomed actress Elizabeth Hurley to her show and while she was in the hot seat, Bethenny revealed some interesting information regarding their past.

“You don’t know me but I know you. We’ve met before,” Bethenny told Elizabeth.

“When I was living in L.A., I was working as a hostess at a restaurant called Clafoutis in Sunset Plaza and you used to go there with Hugh [Grant],” she explained. Clafoutis is a popular eatery on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood which is currently in its 21st year of business, and opposite an apartment building where Elizabeth used to live when she first moved to Los Angeles to further her acting career.

“You were the cutest little couple and you would have breakfast,” Bethenny continued. “You hadn’t really broken out yet. I just remember thinking about how beautiful you both were and later, I was like ‘Oh my god, there’s that couple I used to serve eggs.’ You used to have eggs and a little croissant too but not that I am a stalker.”

Although Elizabeth doesn’t seem to remember Bethenny being her waitress, she did get a kick out of the coincidence. “That was a long time ago,” she said. “We had eggs and bacon. Oh, that’s hysterical.”
