Bethenny Frankel’s “Frigid” Behavior Turns Off Staff And Guests

Bethenny Frankel’s talk show has been in the headlines for all the wrong reasons lately. From feuds with Ellen Degeneres to reports of dwindling ratings, the show hasn’t been portrayed in a positive light — at least when it comes to the press. And now, as ratings fail to impress, yet another report of tension on set has hit the web.

According to sources, Bethenny has become quite frigid on set when it comes to her interaction with her staff and guests.

“She’s cold and only walks in when she has to tape and walks out,” one source told the NY Post’s Page Six.

The site also claims to have been told that some guests have “e-mailed complaints to producers.”

A second source says Bethenny’s lack of involvement in the show has caused friction between her and her employees. Others went as far as to claim Bethenny “isn’t around for the producing and planning of the shows.”

However, another program insider insists the audience feedback is “overwhelmingly positive on a daily basis,” with Bethenny’s rep adding, ”There’s not a single solitary aspect of the show that Bethenny is not involved in, from every flower in her guests’ dressing room to the paint on the walls, to every single meeting.”

Earlier this month, Bethenny was reportedly “seeing red” after finding out that her staff had been leaking stories to the press. At the time, an insider told Radar Online, “Bethenny was seeing red and accused her staff of leaking the stories to the press. It’s not a very happy place to work these days. After all of the hard work Bethenny’s staff has done to make the show a hit, she accuses them of going this route. These are very respected professionals that have worked in the business a very long time, unlike Bethenny. She has vowed to find out who the leak is, and has even threatened legal action if she can prove one of her people betrayed her and went public.”
