Are Beyonce Fans Angry About Friendship With Kim Kardashian?

Kim Kardashian reportedly planned her whole Summer 2012 schedule around the Watch The Throne tour of Britain to spend time with boyfriend Kanye West and to stalk Beyonce by simultaneously trailing the singer’s husband Jay Z. It was reported, especially by UK sources, as a contrived bid to force herself upon Beyonce that included a meeting backstage at Beyonce’s Atlantic City postpartum comeback, details of which quickly leaked to tabloids.
Honestly, Kardashian isn’t smart enough to plan that well; as insidious, and manipulative, as she can be. It’s probably part of the reported-upon Kris Jenner plan for ratings to get Beyonce and Blue Ivy Carter to appear in cameo on Keeping Up With The Kardashians. At the very least, as Bruce Jenner noted at the beginning of Oprah’s Next Chapter part one “We’ve made it, honey!” it’s the idea of being accepted, of making it, of earning legitimacy based on pressing record while your mouth is full. It’s the idea that West or Beyonce or Jay Z would and could appear on the show, that people with real talent (think Wolfgang Puck and Vera Wang shilling on the wedding special) deign to appear on the show for publicity.
Who even knows why Beyonce was photographed with Kardashian in the VIP section (also referred to as a “mosh pit” of sorts) at the Birmingham, England concert on Friday except maybe it’s easier to tolerate Kardashian and allow the 31-year-old to leech off the publicity. Or maybe Beyonce doesn’t care about the stalker shtick. In any case, they were seen together after reports that Beyonce shunned Kardashian as gauche. And now Beyonce’s fans are, reportedly, annoyed that the Grammy winner is slumming with a television personality (without a personality).
Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian hung out over the weekend and… the singer’s fans are outraged. The two were front and center at Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Birmingham, U.K. Watch The Throne concert supporting their significant others, and the two girls bonding over their men has already put a kink in Beyoncé’s reputation.
“Kim Kardashian is not the sort of girlfriend that Beyoncé fans envision the new mother having,” an insider told RadarOnline.com. “Beyoncé has an air of class and sophistication to her, while Kim is famous because of a sex tape and a failed marriage.”
But with Beyoncé’s husband and Kim’s boyfriend touring together, the two girls are sure to be spending more time together and it won’t do any favors for Beyoncé’s reputation.
“Beyoncé and Kim Kardashian in the same picture let alone the same sentence is tragic,” one fan tweeted.
Another fan tweeted, “if your role model is Kim Kardashian, I can’t take you seriously, Beyoncé is a way better role model. She’s respectful of herself.”
“Beyoncé tries to stay out of the tabloids, while they’re Kim’s livelihood,” the source said. “It’s an odd pairing.” – via RadarOnline.
