Billy Ray & Tish Cyrus Break Off Their Divorce for the Second Time

Just in case anyone cares, Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus are staying together after their second attempt at divorce.

According to E! Online’s Ken Baker, the couple has decided to go through with couples therapy instead of hashing out a financially rough divorce. Baker says, “I spoke to Tish and she told me they both woke up and realized they love each other and decided they want to stay together… They recently went into couples therapy, something they hadn’t done in 22 years of being together, and it’s brought them closer together and really opened up their communication in amazing ways… She also said marriage can be really hard, especially after 22 years of being in the entertainment business, and admitted they’ve had rough times. But they both realized they didn’t want to be another statistic and want to make it work.”

Has Billy Ray Cyrus really been in the “entertainment world” that long?  I mean he had his Achy Breaky Heart single, but what else has come along?  Maybe I’m completely ignorant to his successful career but, come on, I’m sure he has time to work on his marriage. Both parents should stop living through their daughter, Miley, and work on themselves. If you’re trying to divorce each other every two years, then there’s a problem.

A few months ago, Miley Cyrus posted a photo of her and her father’s co-star, Dylis Croman. Croman worked with Billy Ray Cyrus on broadway in Chicago. The tweet post was followed with the caption “If you don’t tell the truth then I will.” Nothing ever came out of that post and it was deleted pretty quickly after. Tish and Billy Ray have younger children and that is who they need to focus on. Miley needs to stay out of their relationship and not post potentially hurtful things. In her tweets, it sounded as though Miley was ready to cut off her dad for not contacting her back. Tweeting threats is never the answer. Maybe that’s why Miley is so crazy and wild these days. She’s in her twenties and should be adult enough to deal with her emotions in a mature way. No news on her relationship with Liam Hemsworth.
