Blake Lively & Leonardo DiCaprio Are Still Dating, Despite Reports

The random reports from a budget British magazine with no credibility about the break-up of Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio were false. Shocking. It had been claimed by the magazine, Now, in what would appear to be 100% fabrication, the couple split at the behest of Dicaprio’s meddling and disapproving mother. It was all so random, and reading the reports felt like they were pulling lines/ plot points/ ideas out of a hat. It actually sounded made up. And they had no credibility to start with. They’re not like People, or even Us Weekly or Page Six who get this stuff right at least some of the time. And, the couple has been spotted several times since the report spread from Britain to the States (in what was a humourous display of how an obviously-false story can spread the world over, on a slow news day).
Though Blake Lively recently returned to New York City to film scenes for Gossip Girl’s fifth season, the 23-year-old actress met up with new beau Leonardo DiCaprio in Santa Barbara, Calif. Wednesday. The lovey-dovey twosome were spotted shopping for Carrera X-cede shades at the Solstice Sunglass Boutique. Lively helped DiCaprio, 35, find the perfect pair of sunglasses. The coupled talked quietly as they browsed the store, never letting go of one another.
“They seemed very much in love,” a store rep tells Us Weekly. “They were in the store for about 10 minutes before a crowd of fans noticed them and they rushed out.” Since they began dating in May, the couple has been spotted everywhere from Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif. to European hotspots like Monte Carlo, Venice, Italy and Saint-Paul de Vence, France. – via Us Weekly.

Both read like a paid product placement/ advertorial leaked to the press by the brand manager of those glasses, right? Who cares what brand he was trying on. There’s no reason to really mention it. Whatever. They’ve been seen together and competing outlets agree that they’re still a couple.
