Trouble in Paradise for Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert?
May 1, 2013 by Coco Liberty
Ever since Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert have said “I do,” there have been rumors of relationship failure. Shelton is known for being friendly with the ladies and the media constantly scrutinizes Lambert over her weight. Shelton and Lambert are constantly on magazine covers defending their marriage and the lack of time they actually spend together. Somehow, though, they make appearances together at most award shows.
According to RadarOnline.com, “Despite being married, Miranda and Blake are like two ships passing in the night,” a source told the National Enquirer, who is reporting it’s splitsville for the once happy couple.
“Between their touring schedules and public appearances, they’re actually together only about 50 days a year. That’s no way to run a marriage — and suspicions and jealousies creep up between them.”
Speaking of jealousy, Star Magazine is reporting that Lambert is green with envy over Shelton’s decision to bring Sheryl Crow on to The Voice as his guest mentor.
“Miranda lit into Blake. She bawled and screamed that he’s heartless, and he yelled back that she needs to chill out and trust him,” a pal told the magazine. “Sheryl’s been texting and calling Blake during off-hours, and Miranda is extremely annoyed.”
If they got married for the right reasons, someone needs to compromise; whether that be Shelton or Lambert. Their schedules are too hectic and Shelton’s paycheck from The Voice should suffices for now. Why doesn’t someone take time off from music and put the work into their relationship? Both Lambert and Shelton have been quoted as saying “divorce is NOT an option.” Hopefully, they can remain true to that statement.
As for the Crow “maybe” affair, Lambert knows what to expect with Shelton because their relationship started while Shelton was still married. Hasn’t she heard of the expression, a leopard can’t change its spots?
Unfortunately, Shelton can get away with this behavior because women let him. Lambert seems like a hard-ass, though, so I hope she puts him in his place. Ladies, this is why my mother always says, “you be the centerpiece, not the man.” Shelton overshadows her instead of complimenting Lambert’s attributes.
In the grand scheme of things, these tabloid reports are constantly surfacing over this issue. If we took tabloids at face value, the Kardashian Empire would have crumpled already. With that logic, Lambert and Shelton’s relationship might survive.
