ITW: Blue Ivy Carter Has Six Nannies, Diapers “Changed Every Hour”

In Touch Weekly has some random report about the life of Blue Ivy Carter. Take this with a grain of salt, but the tabloid basically claims the Notorious B.I.C. is a spoiled, indulged diva who’s pampered with bejewelled trinkets that sound like a choking hazaard.

According to a friend, the new mom has two nannies on call at all times, which makes for a total of six nannies for little Blue Ivy Carter.

“Beyonce wanted to make sure that her daughter has the best of care,” a friend of the singer tells In Touch. “Her diaper is changed every hour.”

“Jay-Z bought her diamond earrings and a platinum baby bracelet,” reveals the friend. “Even her bottle has pink sapphires on it.”

A little over the top perhaps, but what can you expect from the couple who reportedly spent $1.3 million to bullet-proof the delivery room. – via In Touch Weekly Magazine.

Starting at the beginning: Six. Really? Six. SIX nannies. For one baby. Celebrities often need multiple nannies for their babies. However, “multiple” in that case usually means “two.” If they have any more than that, mostly, they’re over-prepared.

And the lack of a second pronoun in the sentence ”Her diaper is changed every hour.” Um, changed by whom? Is one of the nannies solely designated on diaper duty? Is Beyonce above changing her own baby?

And the jewels. Can we not? The bottle almost sounds cute, but the rest of the trinkets just sound garish and superfluous.

Lastly, the bullet proofing append is just plain made up. There were a bunch of reports from the hospital staff at the time, and not one of them said that’s what the money was spent on. The room cost a fraction of that to hire. However, that doesn’t mean the reported figure of $1.3 million was spent elsewhere.
