Are Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Getting Married At Their French Chateau On Saturday?

There are rumours from the European tabloids that Brad Pitt and Angelna Jolie are getting married Saturday August 11, at their home in France.

French outlets Paris Match and France 3 Cote d’Azur claim there’s been wedding-related preparation on the property for several days, with the latter publication taking up station outside the couple’s home and reporting on the activities (Var Matin, another local publication, says the wedding is imminent but not as soon as this weekend). The idea is they’ve both been filming in England for weeks, Jolie on Maleficent and Pitt on The Counselor, so they could fly to their home for the ceremony with little notice (to the media).

A source tells the UK’s The Sun newspaper the rumours started because of preparations for a party this weekend that is, in all likelihood, preparations for Pitt’s parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. Moreover, The Sun’s sources seem to read National Enquirer who claimed months ago there would be a double-ceremony to coincide with the Jane Pitt and Bill Pitt’s anniversary.

His parents are already at the home along with Jolie’s ring designer Robert Procop. The supposed wedding guest list is said to include no more than 20 people like George Clooney who’s yet to arrive.

The Sun’s source explains further: “Brad flew in to oversee preparations but they’re all here now. They say it’s for Jane and Bill, but some think this could be it. Even Angelina’s private jeweller is here… George and Brad are best [friends], there’s no way he’d miss it.  He’s at his house in Italy, but could fly to Marseille in an hour. There’s a real buzz around the estate.”
