Breaking Amish: Abe Schmucker Mug Shot From 2008 Arrest For Alcohol Intoxication In Public

September 27, 2012 by Hollywoodite

On a recent episode of Breaking Amish, the cast pretends to go grocery shopping for the first time at the behest of producers who appear to be contriving the entire premise of the show. At the store, many of the cast buy junk food and alcohol under the premise this is a new experience for them. Even though it’s been established almost all the cast has lived outside their communities before, they’ve either had kids, married, divorced, or have lived the “English” life before, and they’re pretending to “leave for the first time.”

The boys buy alcohol as do the girls and Abe Schmucker and Jeremiah Raber, the former in particular, act as though they’ve never “partied” before. Even though Raber left the Amish 14-years-ago according to friends and his ex-wife (the mother of his three kids) and Schmucker was arrested in 2008 for being drunk in public and even appears to have the Amish haircut in the 2008 booking photo.

The mug shot surfaced in the UK’s Daily Mail newspaper a few days ago and it’s recently been re-posted to MugShots.com who offer the following information some of which appears to be default information.

* His full name is listed as “Abe C. Schmucker.” Which explains why the show’s bios doesn’t provide surnames. It would be too easy to find things like Raber’s court records for domestic battery, child support cases, and divorce records, and Sabrina’s marriage licence, and the mug shots for alcohol offenses by Kate Stoltzfus (mentioned on the show) and Schmucker (his arrest has not been mentioned on the show).

* His incidentals are listed as: Race: White; Height: 5′ 5″ (1.65 m); Weight: 120 lb (54 kg); Hair Color: BROWN; Eye Color: GREEN;

* The arrest date is listed as “4/19/2008.”

* The charges are listed as “Arrest Number: 58647; Arrest code: 02304; Description: ALCOHOL INTOXICATION IN A PUBLIC PLACE-1ST & 2ND OFFENSES.”
