Another Source Confirms Rebecca Byler Got Pregnant By Abe Schmucker In 2010

Breaking Amish is heading toward an episode focusing on the relationship between Rebecca Byler and Abe Schmucker who’s supposedly planning to propose only to learn his girlfriend’s legally married to another man (whom she married after March 2010 and from whom she only became divorced in July 2012 which means she was married at the start of filming in May 2012).
The contrived proposal seems to be a belated plot device to explain away Byler’s marriage. Since it’s apparent Schmucker already knew Byler was married and the scenes of confrontation appear to have been staged for the show.
And it remains to be seen whether producers will be honest about Byler and Schmucker’s existing relationship before the show. Since they don’t just “know each other from church” as they claim. They’ve been dating since mid-2010, while Byler was still married to Rufus Hostetler from whom she separated the same year seemingly to abscond with Schmucker. About which Hostetler said on Facebook in October 2010: “I am tryn 2 figure out why in th world abe schmucker wud want to b a friend on face book afterall he left wht my wife.”
And now a named source in the National Enqurer is also confirming that Byler and Schmucker, who pretend to be enjoying a new, chaste, relationship-of-weeks on the show, have really been together for years and have a baby girl together.
Shannon Edwards says, in short, the couple’s relationship as portrayed on the show is a sham because they’ve been together for years. And, as already established, Byler left the Amish before being approached by the show and she’s familiar with the “English” world and modern appliances which is why she (allegedly) staged scenes in an empty house for the pilot.
“Rebecca and Abe are not two kids who fall in love as the show is being filmed,” Shannon Edwards of Columbia, Ky., told The Enquirer.
“They’ve been out of the Amish community for some time and they’ve been a couple for years. They stayed in a camper behind our home for several months in 2010 while Rebecca was pregnant with their baby girl.”
And while Rebecca, 20, implies on the show that she’s never used modern appliances or worn a bathing suit, that’s not true either, says Shannon.
“Rebecca used our washer and dryer and other appliances all the time,” Shannon said. “She’d hang out by the pool in a little bitty bikini and Abe liked to drink alcohol.”
Shannon’s husband Adrian added: “Abe worked for my landscaping company, and the last time I saw them, they were riding around in a fancy new pickup truck.”
“We figured he’d gotten a new job. Now we know what that job was… working on that phony TV show!” – via National Enquirer.
And there’s photo proof, too, as posted nearly a month ago on Facebook by the same woman from the Enquirer article. She’s identified as “Shannon Marie Edwards” of Kentucky on the BreakingAmishTheExpose Facebook page in a post dated September 24, 2012. Edwards’ Facebook photos at the time were public and included a bikini photo of Byler dated June 11, 2010 when Byler was a “few weeks pregnant” by Schmucker.
Included is Edwards’ photo of Byler in a bikini, a photo allegedly of Byler and Schmucker with their baby daughter, and a recent photo of the couple posing together from (another) Facebook page.
