Britney Spears’ First Husband, Jason Alexander, Calls Her Engagement “Fake”

December 21, 2011 by Hollywoodite

The first “Jason” to whom Britney Spears became engaged in 2004, Jason Alexander, remained irrelevant and bitter when asked about his ex-wife’s engagement to Jason Trawick.

Asked by Us Weekly, Alexander responsed that Spears’ whole relationship was fake. Keep in mind, he probably hasn’t been allowed to interact with Spears since 2004, when her team requested an annulment of the 55-hour Las Vegas wedding at the The Little White Wedding Chapel. He probably has NO idea what she has spent the last seven-years doing, except for what’s reported in the tabloids.

That didn’t stop him mouthbreathing through the following: “I know everyone wants me to be happy about this, but I am not. I think it’s fake and I think people are afraid to say it. If you look at all the pictures between them there is no connection, they look like they are going through the motions. It seems like a answer to the court thing. Sort of a nice way to sew it all up she marries her handler. That way she always has someone controlling her. It’s sort of sad.”

By contrast, second husband Kevin Federline said nice things about fiance and fiancee… and interacts with the couple semi-regularly: “I’m really happy for her. She’s happy. She’s doing really well. I want to say she’s in a good place… [Jason Trawick is] a really good guy.”
