Life & Style: Britney Spears Planning For Wedding… & A Baby Girl

December 21, 2011 by Hollywoodite

Life & Style’s cover already feels dated, despite this being the first chance to report the Thursday proposal and Friday ring reveal (the tabloid exclusive reportedly went to People, so this might just be a grab at People’s story since L&S used old photos and recycled/ fabricated information in its report).

L&S is trying to make a pregnancy story happen, because news of the engagement isn’t juicy enough and everybody’s already reporting that. The cover reads: “Finally! Her Happily Ever After: A Wedding & A Baby… Britney’s tears of joy after Jason’s touching proposal, A stunning 4-carat ring and her dream dress, Now she’s hoping for a baby girl.” Except there’s probably no dress yet, since Britney Spears is having a long engagement and they only got engaged six-days ago. Moreover, they’re trying to start a “Britney is preggo” story, since that’s easy filler for their creative fiction dept.

It was a fairy-tale moment for Britney Spears when Jason Trawick got down on one knee and proposed with a Neil Lane engagement ring during a romantic dinner at the couple’s LA home on Dec[ember] 15.

Now a friend reveals to the new issue of Life & Style that the ring cost Jason a whopping $92,000!

“Jason helped design a 4-carat round-cut-diamond-and-platinum ring that has diamonds all around the band. It’s gorgeous!” a friend of his tells Life & Style.

Jason had shopped for a ring at many of LA’s other top jewelers, including Harry Winston and Tiffany, before finding a Neil Lane design Britney would love.

“He looked for a while for the perfect ring and chose it all by himself,” the friend tells Life & Style. “By now he knows what Britney likes. Jason’s never been engaged before, so he’s really, really excited. He’s thrilled that Britney will be his wife. They’re both happy. They’ve come a long way.” – via Life & Style Magazine.
