Betty Ford Besties: Is Brooke Mueller Trying to Befriend Lindsay Lohan in Rehab?

Rumor has it that Brooke Mueller is looking for new friends in rehab. And apparently, Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife has set her sights on none other than Lindsay Lohan.

Mueller may be looking for a confidante at Betty Ford, but don’t count on the two troubled women becoming BFFs anytime soon. A source told RadarOnline that Lohan is less than thrilled by the idea of befriending the mother-of-two. In fact, it’s “creeping Lindsay out that Brooke seeks her out nightly at the meetings in an attempt to strike up a friendship,” the insider told Radar. “Brooke is extremely eager to become besties with Lindsay while in rehab, and has told Lindsay how much they have in common.”

Indeed, Mueller and Lohan have both seen their fair share of trouble. In the past week, Brooke has been accused of everything from greed to repeated overdoses. Perhaps it might not be such a bad idea for her to make a new friend while trying to clean up her act. Lindsay’s father Michael is certainly open to the idea. “Maybe they will learn something from each other,” he told RadarOnline.

But Lohan is not interested in learning anything from a friendship with Mueller. “Lindsay has said that Brooke is a drug addict, and wants nothing to do with her,” Radar’s source confirmed. “Lindsay has told her treatment team to keep Brooke out of her group sessions.” Her harsh response may be due in part to the fact that Lohan doesn’t believe she has a problem with addiction. Recall that in a recent interview with Piers Morgan, she denied being a “crazy drug addict who shows up late to everything and behaves so badly.”

So it looks like Brooke Mueller may have to look elsewhere for new celebrity friends.
