Bruce Jenner Removes Skin Cancer On His Nose

September 20, 2013 by Ricky Guo

Earlier in the week, pictures were floating around the Internet with Bruce Jenner wearing a bandage on his nose.

Nobody knew what was going on, but many thought that he got more plastic surgery.

Today, however, the truth finally comes out.

According to TMZ.com, Bruce got surgery to remove skin cancer on his nose that required 30 stitches (ouch).

This is isn’t the first time that he had to get surgery to remove skin cancer. In 2012, he underwent surgery to remove skin cancer from the side of his face.

The doctors tell TMZ that the cancer is due to sun damage. The problem is that Bruce is an avid golfer so he is in the sun a lot and reportedly doesn’t wear a lot of sun protection. Sources tell TMZ that he is “doing okay now, but he ‘will probably have a big scar on his nose.’”

We wish Bruce a speedy recovery and hope the next time he steps out into the sun he will wear protection to keep this from happening again.
