PHOTOS Buckwild’s Katie Saria Is Building Up A Modelling Portfolio

Buckwild has been cancelled after only one season broadcast on MTV. The second season had begun filming in West Virginia although filming was complicated by Salwa Amin and Michael “Bluefoot” Burford’s arrests for drink and drug offenses (similarly, Amin and Tyler Boulet were both arrested during the filming of season one) and the death of the show’s most popular cast member, Shain Gandee. As such, MTV postponed and subsequently pulled the whole show.
Furthermore, MTV has officially rejected producers’ plans to take the Buckwild show or concept to another network. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network decided to refuse show producer J.P. Williams the opportunity to re-tool and reboot the show elsewhere. Williams responded in a predictably irascible manner, saying “MTV is the most hypocritical network out there … Van and Susanne can keep promoting pre-martial sex and promoting leaving the baby after you have it [on Teen Mom]. I’m so glad they have found their moral bar.”
As such, the original cast is left without a show and they’re moving on to other things (anyone who follows them on Twitter will have noticed that several cast changed their handles from something including “MTV” to something unrelated and more personal).
One of the cast members who seems to have other plans in the works is Katie Saria, 22, who is building a modelling portfolio.
A tipster kindly sent Hollywoodite.com these photos of Saria. The make-up artist for the shoot tells us “Her and I had been talking. I am a makeup artist and she wanted to model, so she came to Orlando. We got a bunch of photographers together and did some shoos so she could build up her portfolio.”
