Buckwild: Salwa Amin Says She’s Slept With 5 Guys, Won’t Make WV Look Bad, Smokes Weed

MTV’s Buckwild is coming up in less than a month despite opposition from the community, opposition from a local politician, a spoof report claiming that the show had been cancelled the same day it was announced, and the denial of tax credits by state officials who refused to subsidise filming that they feared would show its locale of West Virginia in a negative light.
And we’ve already met the cast: Anna Davis, Ashley Whitt, Cara Parrish, Joey Mulchy, Katie Saria, Salwa Amin, Shae Bradley, Shain Gandee, and Tyler Boulet. Of whom Amin is, thus far, the only one with a mug shot photo for an unspecified misdemeanor arrest out of West Virginia. And Amin is probably the cast member about whom there is the least information compared to her cast mates (comparative lack of social networks and photos, locked Twitter etc.)
But she’s clearly been reading the coverage about the show, since she’s responding to comments left on Topix.com asking why she’s even on the show.
One commenter asks why Amin, 24, is on the show with people a few years younger; she’s old enough to know better, is educated, and appears to be from a good family. Another person ponders: “I’ve actually hung out with Salwa before and she’s a nice girl. However I have NO CLUE why she’d allow herself to be exploited on this trash show. She’s a college graduate from an affluent family. SMH…” The second person posits further: “On second thought – F it. Yea the show is trashy as all get out, but so was Jersey Shore and the cast are now MILLIONAIRES. Do your thing Salwa…try your best to ignore the haters b/c there will be many.”
Responding to negative comments mocking her earlier in the thread, someone claiming to be “Salwa Charleston, WV” responds that the “haters” are jealous because she’s “beautiful” (she really is though) and she gives her locked Twitter and says she’s going to “make it.”
* “Hahahahha hater a** b**ch.. Whoah ur essay u took time writing about me was so thoughtful… Lol u actually take the time out to think and write about me… I am #Winning… And ur a loser.. I’m beautiful … U have short hair and look like a nasty cracked out rihanna lol,” wrote Amin to one critic.
* To the person who compared Buckwild favourably to Jersey Shore, Amin wrote: “Thanks so much sweetie but I promise I won’t make west va look bad.. U have my promise.. Please follow me on twitter MTVBuckwild_Salwa but thanks for sticking up for me.. Ain’t nothin but haters.. That’s how I know I’m gonna make it :)”
* Responding to another person who questioned her morals, drug and dating history, Amin replied: ”Actually honey.. Lol I have only slept with 5 guys!!! Hahahah and I don’t know what ur talking about.. I have smoked weed before but NEVER do any pills!!”
