April 1, 2013 by Hollywoodite

One of the standouts of MTV’s smash hit reality show Buckwild has been reported missing by his family.

Reports out of Charlseton, West Virginia confirm the reality star hasn’t been seen since Sunday morning and his uncle is also missing. Shain Gandee, 21, was last seen about 3 a.m. Sunday March 31 at Larry’s Bar in Sissonville, WV with his uncle, David Gandee, 48.

The two said they were going off-roading in Shain Gandee’s 1984 Ford Bronco (red and white, over-sized tires, license plate No. 3UD308), according to a statement from the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department. Although, neither man specified where they were going so no one knows what direction they headed after they left the bar.

Charleston’s own DailyMail.com notes “Shain is 6 feet tall and weighs about 180 pounds. David is also 6 feet tall and weighs about 225 pounds,” adding the men “have been missing for 31 hours… [and] family members spent most of the day Sunday trying to track them down.” Cpl. B.D. Humphreys says family members reported them missing after searching and trying to contact the men Sunday.

Authorities note, no foul play is expected.

UPDATE 4/1/13: Sadly, it would appear Shain Gandee has since been found dead.

UPDATE 4/1/13: One of the other bodies has since been identified as David Gandee, 48, according to WOWKTV.

UPDATE 4/2/13: The third man has been identified as Gandee’s friend Donald Robert Myers, 27, an employee at a local Subway whose bosses grew concerned when he didn’t come in to work.
