Caroline Manzo Faces New Development In Albert’s Cheating Scandal

Caroline Manzo has been open in the past about her views on possible infidelities in her marriage. Although she hasn’t come right out and said that her husband cheated on her, she did state that she wouldn’t hold it against him if he had been unfaithful during the early years of their nearly 30-year marriage.

Despite the issue appearing to be something Caroline isn’t concerned with, she was recently confronted with rumors that her husband was involved in an affair during filming on the fifth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Reports claim that Johnny Karagiorgis’ wife Penny Drossos brought up the scandal all while cameras rolled, but producers never aired the scene and Caroline may have been the one who put a stop to it.

In fact, sources have claimed that Caroline was so upset about the confrontation that she decided to step away from the series and focus on her new spinoff instead of returning for season 6.

“During filming of the fifth season, Caroline realized her marriage wasn’t picture perfect,” a source claims in the latest issue of Life & Style. “[Caroline was] distraught and terrified that the rumors would become a story-line that would destroy her supposedly rock-solid marriage.”

Since the scene was left on the cutting room floor, Caroline doesn’t have to worry about her fans seeing any possible cracks in her marriage to Albert, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that those cracks don’t exist. Caroline has said herself that the pair fight often, so there could be some truth to the rumors.

“Tensions started to rise between Caroline and Al over his work schedule,” the source explains. “She thought it was important for Al to take time off from work to spend more time with the family. It really frustrated Caroline that Al refused to listen to her. He would continuously put work before their relationship and his family.”
