Caroline Manzo’s Finale Feud Uncovered, Cheating Allegations Made

Caroline Manzo quit The Real Housewives of New Jersey following her fifth season with the series and while she claimed at the time to be leaving because it was no longer fun, that may not be the full story. In a new report, fans are now learning that Caroline’s exit could have been the result of cheating accusations being made during the show’s finale.

During the last episode of the show, following a massive fight involving Jacqueline and Chris Laurita, as well as Joe Gorga, Caroline was seen asking, “Are you happy? Are you happy what you did to a family ? I want my family out of here!”

While the comment was thought to have been directed at Kim DePaola, a Rumorfix source has now revealed that it was actually made to Penny Drossos, the wife of Johnny Karagiorgis, who was also involved in the brawl.

“Caroline was actually screaming at Penny accusing her of being the instigator in Teresa’s family problems,” the source explains. “Penny responded by claiming Manzo’s husband, Albert, was a cheater and that was the point that Caroline started screaming to get her family out.”

On the recently aired season 5 reunion, Caroline made waves when she told Andy that she would be “foolish” to think that Albert has been faithful for 32 years. However, despite Caroline’s candidness on the reunion, the issue wasn’t something she wanted fans to see on the show. In fact, it has been rumored that Caroline demanded Bravo not air any talks of Albert’s infidelities.

Then, on Sunday night, Caroline formally announced her exit from the series.

“Over the past few years my outlook on the show has changed from something I couldn’t wait to show my future grandchildren to something I hope my future grandchildren never see,” Caroline admitted. “I’ve always prided myself on being a good example for my children and my decision to leave is based on advice I’ve always given them: ‘Be true to yourself and be proud of who you are, you are born with a name and you die with a name, don’t dirty it up.’ Going back to film another season of Housewives would only make me a hypocrite.”
