Cheryl Burke Isn’t Dating Paris Hilton’s Sloppy Seconds

Cheryl Burke of Dancing With The Stars was attached to the sloppy seconds of Paris Hilton this week. Poor Burke, she was reported by Life & Style to have lowered her standards and begun a relationship with that guy famous for being exposed to herpes for the better part of a year. The magazine claimed that Burke was Cy Waits’ rebound chick and they’d been dating for around two weeks.
Cy turned heads with the professional dancer, 27, during the EDC electronics convention in Las Vegas during the last weekend of June. ”He’s been seen several times with Cheryl,” an insider reveals Life & Style. “The pair have gotten very cozy in the past two weeks… They seemed to have really great chemistry together at the event.”
“Ever since Cy and Paris broke things off, he’s wasted no time getting back in the game,” a source close to Cy tells Life & Style. “He’s been texting Cheryl nonstop. He seems smitten!”
And they seem to be getting on just fine… especially on Twitter. “Everyone follow @cywaits!” Cheryl tweeted on June 23. “Can’t wait for EDC this weekend in Vegas.” To which Cy responded, “Miss Cheryl! So nice to hear from you.” The two have continued to correspond and flirt via the social network ever since. – via Life & Style.
That doesn’t sound like flirting. That reads as pretty generic, right? It’s hardly sexy, or suggestive. It’s barely friendly, considering they do know each other. So, Life & Style admit they’ve got little to go on, aside from their source’s supposition about “chemistry” and a few public tweets. There don’t seem to be any photos of them together and nothing more concrete. That’s probably because they’re not dating at all. Not according to Gossip Cop, who is engaging in a p**sing match between sources by stating THEIR sources discredit the story. “They know each other through a mutual friend. They’re NOT dating,” the story is “an exaggeration at best.”
