Christina Aguilera: “I Have A Boyfriend That Loves My Body”

Christina Aguilera did little in 2011 except judge an underwhelming, bootleg American Idol and become zoftig. The latter garnered more headlines, which is telling. In all fairness, she’s a mother over 30-years-old. However, with all this new talk about her “curves” one feels she’s forgetting how thin she was as recently as 2010.

Aguilera was at her thinnest not during her Stripped days but during her Bionic/ Burlesque days. She looked great around late 2010; healthy, but full in the face and in shape. It wasn’t a skinny thing, really. She just looked slim but curvy, really shapely, it was a nice mix.

And now she’s suffering booze bloat and she’s making excuses. Namely that she loves her “Latin curves” because her boyfriend co-signs on her weight gain: “You got to be a strong, powerful, very confident woman,” she said, at the Television Critics Association event for The Voice. “Women, we are definitely under a microscope and under massive scrutiny. As long as I am happy in my own skin, that is all that is all the confirmation I need. I have a boyfriend that loves my body. I love my body, my son is healthy and happy and that is what matters.”
