Did Christina Aguilera Look Skinny On The Voice: Before & After

A bunch of you have asked about this, so it’s being addressed with photos the morning following The Voice season two episode 11, the Live Performance/ elimination show.

Since the promotional trail for this season of The Voice, there’s been scrutiny about Christina Aguilera’s weight gain of which she’s spoken positively. Sources says she loves her “Latin curves,” and feels proud of her body. Moreover, Aguilera says she was too thin for her role in Burlesque so she’s happier at what she feels is a healthier, heavier weight. And she has a boyfriend who “loves” her body.

That hasn’t stopped sources talking to the tabloids about Aguilera: how she’s a “bloated, drunk mess” who’s “fat” because she’s a booze-hound, a secret booze-hound who’s belligerent and causing problems for The Voice production including instructing cameramen to make her look thinner.

Last night, April 3, Aguilera mentored as usual. She wore an orange Roland Mouret dress and looked better than she had in weeks; she glowed, she was styled pretty great, and dressed well for her shape (her make-up was too dark, but that was incidental).

And a bunch of you noticed that she looked… different. Not just “great styling” different either. It’s tough, since, yes, she looked slimmer. She looked pretty skinny last night. She looked like she lost a couple of pounds and got the styling for her new body type down. However, looking at a screen-cap from The Voice season two episode one, where she wore black and covered her arms, compared to episode 11, where she wore the orange sleeveless dress, it’s apparent she didn’t lose as much as people thought. She lost enough that people noticed, and the styling did the rest. Arguably.
