Ciara Opens Up About Everything from Her Love Life to an Alleged Beef with Rihanna

Spring is in the air and love is in full bloom for Ciara. The R&B singer has been out and about promoting her upcoming project One Woman Army. But it looks like her fifth studio album, slated for release on June 4th, isn’t the only thing on Ciara’s mind. While in Philadelphia last Friday, CiCi chatted with the crew of 107.9′s Qdeezy Show about her budding romance with rapper Future.

Though it’s no secret–the lovebirds have been spotted everywhere from Beverly Hills restaurants to awards show after parties–Ciara has remained relatively silent about her relationship until now. “We actually met working at first and our relationship was very organic,” she explains. And while mixing business with pleasure may not work for some, the combination is just right for the twosome who collaborated on Ciara’s latest single Body Party. “I didn’t expect anything to come from us working together,” the singer admits. “I didn’t even know what to expect from going into the studio with him. And then we began to meet each other and everything began to just flow. He is really cool, like he is my friend too.”

Indeed, there’s no denying the chemistry between the ATLiens both in and outside the studio. So it’s no surprise that the rumor mill is circulating news of an engagement. Neither party has confirmed, but the couple has reportedly been spotted with matching ring finger tattoos.

Unfortunately, not every relationship in her life is going so well. When asked about Rihanna, Ciara simply stated, “there is no relationship.” Despite rumors of an ongoing beef between the divas, fueled in part by a 2011 war of words on Twitter, CiCi maintains that she has no problem. “But even when it pertains to [Rihanna] I never had an issue with her. So I don’t know what it is, I can’t figure it out. I guess I don’t care to figure it out. But I always came from a place of love and support for her ever since we hung out a little bit, or whatever it is.”

Of course, that’s not how Rihanna sees it. According to  Bossip, when a loyal Navy fan posted an Instagram photo with highlights of the interview, the bad gal mocked the idea that she would speak to Ciara. So, are RiRi and CiCi really beefing? Who knows. But whatever the case may be, it seems like Ciara is ready for love, not war.
