Cory Monteith Out of Rehab and Reunites with Girlfriend, Lea Michele

Glee star Cory Monteith is out of rehab. The 30-year-old Alberta, Canada native was spotted with his supportive girlfriend, Lea Michele, 29, at the Los Angeles International airport on Friday.
The actor voluntarily checked himself into rehab at the end of March for substance abuse issues. Both his rep and Michele released statements. “I love and support cory and will stand by him through this. I am grateful and proud he made this decision,” Michele said.
While the rest of the world may have been shocked to find out about Monteith’s substance abuse issues, those closest to him were not. This is not the first time the actor has succumbed to drug abuse; he checked in to rehab when he was 19.
Now, 28 days later, Monteith has emerged back into society. He flew from Antigua to New York before he met up with Michele in Los Angeles. Although he was a smiles on Friday, Monteith is well aware that he faces an uphill battle. In a 2011 interview with Parade Magazine, Monteith spoke out about life after his first time in rehab. “I did the stint but then went back to doing exactly what I left off doing,” he said.
With the support of his girlfriend, his team and fans everywhere, hopefully the love and support he is receiving will be enough to keep him on the straight and narrow.
