Courtland Rogers’ Girlfriend Speaks Out, Reveals When He’ll Be Released
Courtland Rogers is currently sitting in a North Carolina jail following a probation violation. Days ago, the estranged husband of Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans relapsed on heroin, sending out a statement on Twitter in which he admitted to the relapse. Then, after unsuccessfully attempting to sell the drug video, Courtland told fans that he was going to turn himself in. However, according to his girlfriend, that isn’t how things happened.
“We were driving and [Courtland] already had intentions of going to talk to his P.O. He knew that he wasn’t going to pass the drug test … So that’s where we were [going] and a cop pulled up behind us and pulled us over,” Samantha explained during a recent appearance on Peptalks Radio.
At that point, there were no warrants out for Courtland’s arrest, but the officer instructed him to report to his P.O. right away. When he did, he was taken into custody.
“When he went in he was honest about everything,” Samantha said. “I guess she just went ahead and violated him.”
As for his release, Samantha is expecting to have him home sometime in July. ”He’s going to be in jail for nine months,” she reveals. “He can get out on bond, but it would be $2,000 and when I talked to him, he just told me pretty much to save that money and just let him do his time and get out because when he gets out he doesn’t have — he’s not going to have parole or no dumb s**t, like he’s out. He can move, he can do whatever he wants to do. And he’ll be sober. That’s nine months of his life being sober.”
