Hall of Fame Quarterback Dan Marino Confesses He Fathered Love Child

Hall of Fame quarterback Dan Marino has confessed that he fathered a love child back in 2005.
According to a report by the New York Post, Marino had an affair with Donna Savattere which started around 2004. The affair led to Savattere becoming pregnant and she eventually gave birth to a baby girl in June of 2005. The report also stated that Marino allegedly paid Savattere millions of dollars for her silence as well as an agreement between her and Marino for her to relocate to Texas after the birth. Marino has sporadic contact with the child since she has been born.
Marino met Savattere while she was a 35-year-old production assistant at CBS in New York.
When the New York Post originally questioned Marino about rumors that he had a love child with a former co-worker, Marino provided the paper with a written statement confirming the story and saying that he has taken care of his child while also staying married to his wife.
Marino was married to his wife Claire for nearly 30 years and they had six children together. He released this written statement to the New York Post: “This is a personal and private matter, I take full responsibility both personally and financially for my actions now as I did then. We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved. My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years and have six children together. And we continue to be a strong and loving family.”
Marino, who will work the Super Bowl pre-game show on Sunday, has already paid millions of dollars in child support.
Looks like this is one bad pass that Marino can’t make up for. What do you think? Does this damage his reputation? Leave your comments below.
