David Tutera Releases Statement Denying Sex Addiction Allegations
Host of WE TV’s My Fair Wedding David Tutera and his partner Ryan Jurica have decided to split after being together for 10 years.
Last week, Tutera filed formal papers to end their domestic partnership. Jurica allegedly filed two days prior, claiming it was Tutera’s “addiction to sex” and “sex with escorts and prostitutes” that led to the couple’s demise.
“The allegations against me are baseless and untrue and I will fight vigorously to defend my reputation in the court of law as well as the court of public opinion. I believe them to be fabrications of a desperate individual in order to gain legal advantage inour separation,” Tutera said in a statement to People.
What makes this even worse is that the couple is expecting twins this summer via a surrogate mother. “I am saddened by these developments; I am angered by the lies; and I am committed to moving beyond this painful moment to focus on my professional commitment and the upcoming birth of my children,” the wedding planner said. Tutera is seeking full custody of the twins allowing visitation to Jurica. Jurica is also seeking full custody and spousal support.
It is always bittersweet when matchmakers and wedding planners can no longer find love in their heart for their significant others. Hopefully, the former couple can come to an amicable resolution for the sake of their children.
