Demi Moore Will Divorce Ashton Kutcher: Divorce Statement & Tweet

November 17, 2011 by Hollywoodite

Demi Moore has released a statement confirming that she has left Ashton Kutcher. She intends to divorce him.

Her husband-of-six years spent their sixth wedding anniversary sleeping with randoms and co-eds, attempting to pressure one into a threesome only for her to sell her story to US Weekly. A year earlier, something similar happened with another woman.

At first, it appeared Moore was complicit in the cheating. Moreover, there were reports of an open marriage.

Kutcher reportedly first cheated in September 2010 with Brittney Jones. She ran to the tabloids too. Exactly one year later, on the eve of their sixth anniversary, Kutcher cheated with Sara Leal and some of her easy, random friends. Kutcher spent a whole month passive-aggressively tweeting/ vlogging and trying to goad Leal into keeping quiet; never filing suit, like he threatened (but never did) with Jones.

Moore and Kutcher have been in therapy for weeks; camping together, meeting in private, and attending religious services that served as marriage counselling.

However, she’s decided to divorce again. She confirmed in a statement where she passive-aggressively let everyone know she’s filing first because she’s the wronged party and her husband’s a cheater: “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation.”

Kutcher reacted on Twitter, seemingly being warned beforehand: “I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi. Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and light, AK.”
