Dina Manzo Won’t Return To The Real Housewives Of New Jersey Unless Jacqueline Laurita Is Fired

Dina Manzo is rumored to be in talks for a season 6 return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Dina quit the show following a dramatic season 2 in which she feuded with the series’ unofficial villain, Danielle Staub. At the time, it was reported that Dina left because of the emotional impact the show was having on her life at home with her family and in her businesses.
Since the show, Dina and Danielle have made up and although they aren’t friends, they aren’t enemies either. Still, there was one thing reportedly holding Dina back from a return to the hit Bravo series and that was her ongoing feud with her sister Caroline Manzo.
Dina and Caroline haven’t been on good terms for years so being on the show was never an option in Dina’s mind until Caroline stepped away from the series to focus on her spinoff.
However, despite the exits of both Danielle and Caroline, Dina isn’t quite happy with the current cast and in order to return to the show, she’s giving producers an ultimatum.
“Dina wants to come back but wants Jacqueline fired first, because she is afraid of fighting with her,” a source revealed to Huffington Post reporter Tom Murro. ”Dina doesn’t want to be exposed for who she really is. Dina forgot about her brother or sisters ability to be on the show.”
At one point, Dina and Jacqueline were close and Jacqueline did what she could to make the drama in Dina’s life as minimal as possible when it came to Danielle.
“Jax stopped Danielle from exposing Dina so many times by refusing to film with her if she said anything about her,” the source explained. “Jax told Danielle that if she said anything about Dina, she would not be friends with her anymore. Danielle always told stories about Dina and everyone else.”
Then, at the end of season 1, Dina and Jacqueline’s relationship fell apart.
“Jacqueline always protected Dina until she dragged her in the season one finale wanting her to lie for her while she cowardly let Caroline cover for her,” the source claimed.
Now that she is set for a reality comeback, Dina may be moving forward with a divorce from her husband Tommy. The two separated earlier this year but Dina waited to file for divorce, reportedly out of concern that she may need the financial security Tommy offers in the future.
“If Dina makes enough money on her own then she can leave her husband, if not she’s going back to him,” the source explained. “She’s already attempted a few shows to further herself but they fell apart. RHONJ was her only option to stay in the limelight for now.”
