Do Hugh Hefner & Crystal Harris Have A Prenup? What Will Happen If They Divorce?
January 4, 2013 by Hollywoodite
Hugh Hefner, 86, got married to Playboy Playmate and cover girl of 2011′s Runaway Bride issue, Crystal Harris, “26″… on New Year’s Eve shortly before the annual New Year’s party at the Playboy mansion.
The couple had intended to marry the year prior with a reality show tie-in. However, they would have you believe that Harris got cold feet immediately prior and stole away without a word, pawned her engagement ring, and immediately shacked up with another man.
Harris claims the break in the interim taught her how to be “Independent” probably meaning financially independent since Hefner gives his harem a stipend in exchange for room, board, and sexual favours. But now they’re married and so there’s the question of the prenup.
According to a report, the newlyweds do have prenup that should prohibit Harris from taking any part of the Playboy estate that rightly belongs with other people including his children.
“Hef’s lawyer dispatched his assistant to the Playboy Mansion approximately three weeks ago with the final version of the prenuptial agreement for them to sign, a source close to the situation [says].
“The prenup protects Hugh’s Playboy assets, and it also has specific language about the famous Playboy Mansion. If the couple divorces, or if Hef dies, Crystal would have to vacate the mansion, and has no legal rights to the iconic Holmby Hills estate. Hef wanted to sign the prenup at the house so photographers wouldn’t spot him going into his lawyer’s office,” the source says.
This is Hef’s third marriage, although he has been romantically involved with a string of beauties. This is Harris’ first marriage. – via RadarOnline.
