Doug Hutchison, 51 & Courtney Stodden, 16 – What’s The Deal With Their Sex Life, Is She Using Him?

Doug Hutchison, 51, and the bride who was only legal to marry in certain states with the consent of parents who “made that happen,” are talking about their relationship. Again. The couple is decades apart in age, which is okay according to Courtney Stodden because she’s an “old soul.” So, her soul’s as weathered as her skin. Noted. She’s been confirmed as 16-years-old by E! Online who found her birth certificate to assuage concerns that this was an even more creepy publicity stunt. She’s only a kid.
The couple claim that they’re giving interviews because the reaction to their marriage has been so overwhelming. Then it’s not because he’s thrilled to show off his former “virgin” child bride and it’s not because she wants to boost her non-existent career. Nor, as Jezebel opines, is it because they’re shilling a reality show. Nope. It’s “love.” This we learn in between Stodden saying “M-hmm” as loudly as possible, often, and generally talking about nothing. She seems to be one of those people who talks in breathy superlatives out of the corner of her mouth. She did it in today’s interview for E!, and she did it last week on Good Morning America.
She can only just get the words out, in between making goo-goo eyes at E!’s camera person and her husband. Seriously, this GIF, from 4:52 into the GMA interview illustrates the point. She’s allowed, of course, but the incessant attempts at sexy face and the jarring lip-licking are indicative of how trashy she comes across. It’s more than the tan, the hair, and the bolt-ons. It’s everything. And she’s just so intolerably vulgar.
Even though she’s not asked directly, for example, she brags about what a “tiger” Hutchison is in bed. Shudder. And, calls of “slut” are a compliment, according to her… “It’s kind of funny, because if a woman doesn’t call me [a slut] when I walk by, I think I need to go home and redo my hair because I don’t look as good as I did when they call me that.”
That’s actually not the most disturbing thing. Stodden’s vague about whether she’s using Hutchison, who had a supporting role in Oscar-nominated The Green Mile. She licks her lips while blathering something about it being God’s blessing if marrying the actor boosts her own career. And, she’s probably going to be a kept woman since it sounds like she’s done with school. Perhaps. “[Doug] is my college,” she said. “He’s my acting coach. I have a built- in acting coach! How many girls [would want that]? That’s their dream, and I fell in love with my dream.”
