Doug Hutchison “Is Not Creepy,” Says Courtney Stodden’s Mother
August 4, 2011 by Hollywoodite
The mother who passed off her barely post-pubescent child to a 51-year-old whose own family turned their backs on him when they learned of the marriage, says the Lost/ Green Mile actor isn’t a creepy creeper who’d been creeping his way to the lap of her 16-year-old daughter. Speaking to RadarOnline.com, with whom the mother has given an extremely long exclusive interview, we already learned that the couple is yet to try for creepy, melty-face plastic babies together. Even though that would probably give future producers of the reality show they’re shopping more bang for their buck, right? The premise of what seems like a fake marriage of two people whose genitals should never touch would be a little more compelling with a shill baby made at the behest of producers; but alas, they’re using protection with no plans for a child right now.
In this second interview, Stodden’s mother talks about Hutchison, on whose side she has always been. Really, no matter what anyone has said about the guy who’s basically her age and old enough to be her daughter’s grandfather, she’s always fought his corner. She’s doing it again, weeks after any attacks in the media stopped. And even thought no one asked her to.
“He’s not creepy,” Courtney’s mom Krista Stodden exclusively told RadarOnline.com. “He is such a great guy, he’s so intelligent.”
The pair has a 35-year age difference, and Krista said she understands why people don’t get their relationship, but explains that it works just fine for them. “I see why they’re together, he looks like he’s in his early 30s, and Courtney looks like he’s in her late 20s,” she says.
And the protective mom warns that people who don’t know the couple shouldn’t criticize them. “Hold your judgment back, the goodness comes and overwhelms people who meet them. It’s like they’re talking about someone else when they say bad things about Doug,” Krista said. “He’s with my daughter and I wouldn’t want a creepy guy with my daughter.”
Meanwhile, she insists that Courtney has made a sound decision in becoming Doug’s teen bride. “He’s a wonderful, great man,” she says. – via RadarOnline.
It’s good that she’s fighting the corner of Hutchison, her son-in-law, one could suppose. He kind of has no one else. He really doesn’t. His professional representation ran screaming at the news he married a teenager. His own parents/ extended family stopped talking to him because they were so disgusted. It’s bizarre. This kind of HAS to be love, right? Who else would risk the (pointless) questions of legality and commit career/ familial suicide to be with a plasticized-looking airhead?
