Dr Drew Calls Kim Kardashian Punching Kris Humphries Domestic Violence
On the season two premiere of Kourtney & Kim Take New York (which Dr Drew transposes as Kim & Kourtney Take New York, because Kim Kardashian’s ego demands it), the 31-year-old punched her now-estranged husband. It was a weird piece of footage to leave in, since all reports indicated pimp momager did a hack job and demanded super-sympathetic edits to make her daughter look like the victim.
In which case, it should be noted, the offending scene was probably supposed to look playful and make Kris Humphries look like a clumsy, bothersome oaf. It didn’t.
As with the earring breakdown on the Keeping Up With The Kardashians proposal special, this made Kardashian look like a petulant brat with a quick temper. Sure, Humphries playfully pushed her around and name-called. That appeared to be in jest, for the most part. However, Kardashian looked genuinely angered, when he stood on her foot and snapped her pedicured toenail. She struck, appearing to aim with anger towards his face. Humphries grabbed her, hard, in retaliation. In this clip from Dr Drew, he claims the clip is evidence of domestic violence in the now-defunct relationship.
