Life & Style: The “Dramatic Birth” Of Kourtney Kardashian’s Baby Girl
July 11, 2012 by Hollywoodite
Life & Style Magazine opted for spoonfed Kardashian PR, rather than something a little more timely like how the divorce will affect Suri Cruise or something else baby/ child related and in keeping with the other tabloids this week.
The cover says: “The Dramatic Birth. Kourtney’s baby girl: Her last-minute drama in the delivery room; Introducing baby Penelope Scotland to the world; Scott’s tearful promise to be a better dad.” The magazine has no exclusive information, save for perhaps one or two very brief quotes. Opting instead to pass information you read the day of the birth as a cover story along with a file photo.
Kardashian women know how to make an entrance and the newest girl to the family is no different. Lights, cameras and tears of joy ushered Penelope Scotland Disick into the world shortly after 4 a.m. on July 8.
“Scott and I are overjoyed to welcome our precious angel,” proud mom Kourtney Kardashian, 33, gushed following the natural birth in her plush maternity suite at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA.
And no one in the Kardashian clan wanted to miss a precious moment: from Khloé holding onto Kourt’s leg during labor to Kim rushing back from New Jersey to be by her big sister’s side and Rob pacing the waiting room because his awkward jokes got him banned from the delivery suite.
“The whole family is so thrilled to finally meet her!” raves [Kim], whose [boyfriend], Kanye West, sent flowers to Kourtney’s house.
Now that Kourtney has every woman’s dream, a boy and a girl — her family seems happily complete. “It feels amazing,” a blissful Kourtney tells Life & Style about being a mom. “It’s just so indescribable.” – via Life & Style Magazine.
“Kourtney has every woman’s dream, a boy and a girl, her family seems happily complete.” AS IF. What is this sentence? Not every woman wants kids. Those who do want kids don’t all share the reductive view that only a boy and a girl can make a “family” “complete.”
