Eiza Gonzalez Dodges Liam Hemsworth Questions As Miley Cyrus Struggles To Cope With His New Relationship
Eiza Gonzalez and Liam Hemsworth are currently one of Hollywood’s most talked about couples. The pair met just one week ago in Las Vegas and immediately hit it off. Although Liam appeared to still be engaged to Miley Cyrus at the time, the pair formally announced their break-up days later. From there, Eiza and Liam took their romance to Los Angeles where Eiza was spotted first at Liam’s crib after a late night rendezvous and then at her apartment in Beverly Hills where the pair enjoyed a few caught-on-camera kisses.
While their romance is no secret at this point, Eiza and Liam have both stayed mum on the relationship and yesterday, during a promotional appearance for the Spanish DVD release of The Croods, in which Eiza did a voiceover, the singer/actress did her best to keep things secret.
After one media representative asked Eiza if Liam is one of the many charms of the city of Los Angeles, she played it coy. “Los Angeles is a city that energizes me. The city is constantly growing and has a great movie culture,” she explained. “I am very happy.”
Later, when asked if she felt attacked by the paparazzi due to her outings with Liam, Eiza explained, “I didn’t feel attacked at all. Today I am here on this job and I am happy.”
As for how Miley’s holding up, she apparently isn’t doing as great as her latest photo projects (such as her Terry Richardson pictorial in which she poses in her underwear with rumored flame Mike Will Made) lead on.
“She knows Liam has been seeing Eiza and it’s been hard for her,” a source close to Miley tells People Magazine. “She can’t believe he moved on so fast and so publicly.”
