February 14, 2013 by Hollywoodite

Evan Rachel Wood wrote an angry missive on Twitter shortly after being followed out of hospital at which time a paparazzo took photos of the ultrasound the pregnant actress was holding.

Wood, 25, recently married actor Jamie Bell, 26, and they’re expecting their first child together. Wood confirms she was at the hospital for her scan and assumed she was alone. Photos of Wood and the unborn child soon appeared on the Daily Mail Online, at which time Wood realised she had been followed. “Which sick f**k paparazzi hid in the parking lot of my hospital after my ultrasound?” she wrote. “I can’t stand this.”

In a series of angry messages, Wood exclaims that “I want to cry… my child isn’t even born yet… I have never been more violated by a photographer. Thats the inside of my body and my child. Would u like my soul too? nothing is sacred… I’m getting out of L.A. people have no hearts.”

Realising the Daily Mail published the photos, Wood directed a tweet at them and asked “please remove the photos, they are private medical records, and it’s an invasion.” Shortly after which the original link to the Mail story with the ultrasound photos went dead.

Facing criticism, Wood explained: “I was not walking down the street parading my ultrasound photo. That was the roof of a hospital parking garage where you should be safe… That picture was never meant for anyone but me and my husband.”
