Evelyn Lozada & Chad Ochocinco: Married, “No Honeymoon,” Twitter Photo Of Their Rings

Evelyn Lozada, 36, and Miami Dolphins wide receiver Chad Ochocinco, 34, got married in Miami July 4th in front of friends, family, and VH1 cameras and producers, after a friendship, a courtship on television, and a two-year engagement.
And now Ochocinco’s Twitter is littered with soundbites about the day because he pretty much live-tweeted the entire thing. It was partly a tedious attention-grab because they’re making a Basketball Wives wedding spin-off that will debut in September, and it was partly for his pacification. Although he sounded disappointed when the messages weren’t getting the attention he wanted.
* For example, he wrote early July 4 “Is everyone sleeping or waiting on my next tweet? Only 23 mentions… Like WTF…”
* In a subsequent message, Ochocinco says he’s too busy for a honeymoon: “No honeymoon, coming to train after wedding.”
* Asked why, he explained: “Football sis, wedding is awesome but i got to get back 2 form RT: What’s more nerve wrecking getting married, or playing football.”
* Asked why marry on July 4, he said “so I’d never forget our damn anniversary.”
* And he seems to talk about himself in the third-person. A lot. Using his actual name, he wrote: “Funny s**t, only Chad Johnson would be talking training n football on his wedding day…”
* And he complimented his wife’s beauty: “I don’t, just marrying 1 of Gods best designs, i pay the bill 2 keep the power on RT: how’s it feel to lose all power today.”
* Then takes it back and compliments himself: “You should see what i’m wearing, the sad part is i look better than Eve.” And again: “What if @EvelynLozada is a runaway bride when I get out there and I’m stuck looking good all by myself… did I mention looking good?”
* He said he was tweeting to distract himself: “Of course, that way i won’t cry in front of people RT @ochocinco is gonna be at the alter still Tweeting!” He was nervous: “This is bull s**t… I don’t recall sending the butterflies in my stomach an invite… and why am I shaking like I’m in Alaska.” Really nervous: “I’m breathing like a pregnant lady in lamaze class right now… I was hoping continuing to tweet with y’all support would calm me down.” He explained further: “Live tweeting from my wedding… should be a first I’m assuming, music is playing, can’t see my guest right now but they’re here… #nervous”
* He resented the arbitrary (dumb) tradition of being separated from the bride “I’m still turnt up, haven’t seen Eve all day, some tradition bull s**t, I’m on MW3 eating a PB&J waiting to walk down this aisle, y’all busy.” “Hey security won’t let me on the compound or premises… f**k tradition… open these gates before I swim off this damn island.”
* He literally tweeted right before and after: “Here we go…. Proverbs 18:22… I love you guys… If I do it right the 1st time I won’t have to do it again… Turn up…” Followed by: “I got my wife now it’s time to get my game back… @CoachC_C turn up I’m on the way to LA… football season is the honeymoon…”
* He whined about his wife getting changed: “Y’all still there? How many times is Eve gonna change outfits… Is this normal to have more than 1 outfit besides the wedding gown?” “Well s**t she’s on outfit #4 and i’m stuck in this damn tux…”
* Then it was over: “Small issue,I’m the only person that didn’t/doesn’t drink alcohol n every 1 is wasted including my WIFE, can’t relate 2 this shit, now what?” “She got Jack Ass the movie wasted, she won’t respond” “Okay I’ve been up since my usual 5am wake up time… entire wedding party/guest are still drunk I’m assuming since I’m the only one outside.”
Included is his new Twitter avatar; a photo of his and his wife’s wedding rings. Her engagement ring is a 10 carat Jason of Beverly Hills diamond. ”He had a jeweler come to the house,” Lozada told Us Weekly of the proposal. “[It was] a total surprise! We sat there and picked out the ring.”
