EXCLUSIVE Scheana Marie Discusses Vanderpump Rules Season 2, Her Relationship With Shay, And The Lisa/Brandi Feud

Scheana Marie and the cast of Vanderpump Rules are returning for a second season in early November, and ahead of the premiere, Scheana has taken some time out of her busy schedule to talk to Hollywoodite.
Among the topics discussed is Scheana’s future with boyfriend Mike Shay, the new cast members on Vanderpump Rules, and the latest drama between her boss Lisa Vanderpump and her Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star Brandi Glanville.
What can fans expect to see from you personally on season 2?
You will definitely see a more feisty side to me as well as new music and lots of drama!
What are you hoping to see more of during the second season that fans didn’t see during season 1?
I hope the fans get to see more of Shay and I. I feel like there were a lot of things that didn’t make the show last season with our relationship and I hope everyone gets to see more of us this season!
Earlier this summer, there were rumors that you and Shay were engaged, any comment on that?

How is your relationship with Shay these days? Are you living together? What do you see for you in Shay in the next five years?
Shay and I are stronger than ever! We have been living together for 2 years now and couldn’t be happier. I definitely see us married in the next five years and with maybe some talks of little Shays – because let’s face it, I’m not getting any younger!
Are you still working on your music?
Yes I am! I have a new single coming out called Good as Gold that you will get to see me record and perform on the upcoming season!
Will fans get to see your music career on the show?
Absolutely!
Are there any new cast members on season 2 and will everyone from season 1 be returning?
As you can see in the trailer everyone is back this season and there are two new girls stirring the pot, one of them being my best friend Ariana Madix.
Are Stassi and Jax still in a “it’s complicated” sort of relationship?
No comment.
Can fans expect to see changes in the friendships of the cast from last season?
Oh yesssssss!
I noticed that Jax and Tom Sandoval no longer follow each other — is there anything to this?
I think that’s a question for Jax and Tom.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Lisa Vanderpump, the owner of SUR Restaurant where Vanderpump Rules is shot, and her former friend and current co-star Brandi Glanville had a falling out. The news was a shock to fans who have watched the pair’s relationship blossom on the show, but nothing was as shocking as the comments Brandi made after the news went public.
“I found out some unsettling things about her using me to get this Scheana girl, the girl Eddie cheated on me with, publicity,” Brandi had alleged to NW Magazine. “I thought I had done my part by talking to her [Scheana] in the first place. I wanted Lisa to get her show. But then to find out Lisa is like her second mother and there are plans to help her [Scheana] get a spin-off show? I really trusted Lisa. I’ll always love her, but I want an apology.”
The comments were pretty odd considering Vanderpump Rules was Lisa’s doing and not the workings of Brandi and needless to say, Scheana was one of the many who were floored at her claims.
What do you think of Brandi’s claims that Lisa used her to make you famous? What motive could Brandi have in making such accusations?
Those claims are absolutely ridiculous! Vanderpump Rules was in the works way before Brandi was even in the picture. I’ve genuinely apologized, she accepted that apology and now still won’t let it go! Her only possible motive she could have to make such accusations is needing to stay relevant and that’s sad.
She seems to be taking credit for Lisa “getting her show.” Is that even possible?
That’s not only crazy but its absolutely not true. We had our show in the works before I ran into her at Sur that night. If this was all a big set up why didn’t I have a mic on and camera on my face when I was working that night? She’s the one who agreed to sit down with me and production chose to film it. She knew what she was doing by sitting down with me for the show and maybe that’s something she regrets now, but in NO way did she “help” Lisa get her own show. Lisa already had it!!!
