Farrah Abraham Battles Bullies
July 26, 2013 by Natalie Nicole
From being a reality star on MTV’s Teen Mom to releasing her own tape, Farrah Abraham seems to love both good and bad attention from the press. However, she may have had it up to her ears with the harsh comments. Farrah’s latest venture is promoting anti-bullying t-shirts designed to put an end to bashing celebrities. The shirt features the phrase “CelebURty Be Famous for who UR” complete with Farrah’s own signature. She recently posed with her daughter, Sophia, in an advertisement for the tee.
Honey Boo Boo originally created a similar line of shirts for The Brand UR in support of her uncle, Lee Thompson, who was teased for being gay throughout his life. Proceeds go to The Brand UR’s anti-bully scholarship. Farrah hopped on the bandwagon with her own shirt, finding a similar way to promote her stance on bullying.
According to their website, the Brand UR’s mission statement is “to inspire, lift and provide tools for change and growth of individuals and organizations throughout the world. We hope to significantly increase positivity and inspire individuals in their own missions to achieve worthwhile purposes, by making a mark and being individual and spreading our message to be proud of who UR.” And Farrah has definitely made her mark being an individual who is proud of who she is. She holds her head high after revealing her personal life- some of it very up close and personal- to the public.
Is Farrah asking for negative attention and bullying, or should we accept this scandalous girl for the smart business woman she is?
