Farrah Abraham Discusses How Her Career Could Affect Sophia

Farrah Abraham appeared on The Doctors today where she spoke about her career in the adult industry as well as how it could affect her daughter in the future. While the former Teen Mom has claimed that she never meant to end up in the adult entertainment industry, she’s certainly embraced the heck out of it once it happened — but at what price?
Right from the start, fans worried that her daughter would be negatively impacted by tape and now that she has been embracing her inner porn star with the creation of a line of toys, which have been molded to emulate her body parts, she’s having to answer some tough questions about her daughter’s well being.
After being welcomed onto the set of The Doctors by Dr. Rachael Ross, Dr. Ian Smith, and Dr. Jim Sears, Farrah began her interview by talking about her line of toys which she referred to as “positive, healthy and fun.”
At that point, Dr. Ross brought Farrah’s four-year-old daughter Sophia into the conversation which led Dr. Sears to ask if Sophia was aware of her new project.
“I would hope not,” Farrah responded. “That’s an adult conversation, not a child conversation.”
Although the conversation may be for adults right now, it will certainly make its way into her mother/daughter relationship eventually and when it does, Farrah is going to have to do her best to explain why she felt that it was in her best interest to take that route.
“I actually partnered with Topco Sales, and they have a patented cyberskin. Those are the most popular, I guess, [novelty items] that men and women like to buy now,” Farrah bragged, adding that selling these toys is simply good business on her part. ”If you are in a certain light, like you know a lot about medical and you become a doctor, or you want to do more things, and earn more money, be a better business person, then your pursue that because it’s natural for you. So I’m just taking advantage, you know, having my cake and eating it too.”
Farrah doesn’t seem to realize what her future could involve when it comes to Sophia — or what Sophia is going to have to go through because of her choices. In fact, she sounded downright casual and unconcerned when it came to discussing how she would go about explaining herself to her daughter when that time comes.
“I’m very open and honest to a certain point, and she’ll know the reasons why things happened,” Farrah insisted. “I got to work, I do licensing deals, I create products, I do other shows. I’m very open and honest about it and my choices of why. So that’s something I’m actually proud of because others could look at this and make it a negative, act like it’s going to ruin their childs’ lives, and it’s not.”
