Farrah Abraham Drink Driving Plea: Former Teen Mom Admits Guilt in Drink Driving Case

When she was arrested for getting wasted at a party then operating a vehicle that could easily have been used as a deadly weapon, Farrah Abraham was indignant that she had done anything immoral or illegal. Instead, she acted juvenile by throwing her sister under the bus–refusing to concede that she was free to not drink and not drink-drive and to leave at any time. And that it was 100% her own fault. In a series of convoluted conversations in her ill-advised Dr Phil interview where she started crying when called out for being a (bad) liar, she denied driving while drunk only to detail how she drove… while drunk.
But she’s finally taken some responsibility by pleading guilty, according to TMZ.com this morning.
An official at the Douglas County D.A.’s Office tells the website, Abraham “has agreed to plead guilty to aggravated DUI on June 20th in exchange, prosecutors agreed to ask for probation instead of jail.” Her driving privileges will probably also be suspended and she will pay a $500 fine. The remaining charges including disorderly conduct and refusing to take a field sobriety test will be dropped.
Incidentally, she initially lied and tried to get out of this by pleading not guilty. But she’s finally pleaded guilty to being nearly twice over the legal limit.
