Farrah Abraham Only Got Paid $10,000 For Adult Movie: “It’s All Publicity, It’s All Hype”

October 1, 2013 by Hollywoodite

Farrah Abraham has suggested that most of her personal wealth and success in business has come from being in the adult movie she contrived then lied about being leaked.

She hired James Deen, lied about him being her boyfriend, lied about a pregnancy scare, lied about the movie being leaked, then lied about how much she got paid.

When asked outright by TMZ Live at the time of the movie’s release, Farrah told them she is a millionaire, strongly suggesting that the bulk of that money was earned from the sale of the tape. She also sold them a redacted copy of her royalty check. So she’s making some money; just not as much money as she says she is (which explains why she’s about to leak a second tape and is also allegedly escorting… she needs the money).

According to a new report from FOX News, Farrah is worth WAY less than she claims. For example, a source tells FOX411 Farrah was paid $10,000 for Backdoor Teen Mom; not anywhere near the $1 million figure she gave to TMZ, and that Vivid claimed too. Kevin Blatt, who has bartered similar deals concurs, “It is what they offer every celebrity, not a million dollars.”

“In reality she (Abraham) got $10,000 upfront and 30 percent of sales, minus the cost of production,” a source added. “The entire celebrity sex video genre is a lot of unsubstantiated marketing with very little truth behind it… It’s all publicity.  It’s all hype.”

Vivid President Steve Hirsch added this,  ”I think after doing these deals for so many years I know how to properly structure them. We aim for fair deals for all involved and if they weren’t profitable, we wouldn’t be in business for almost 30 years. I’m happy with our track record.”
