Derek Underwood’s Mother Speaks Out: Farrah Abraham’s Behavior “Makes Me Sick”

Farrah Abraham is currently on a nationwide tour to promote the sale of her sex tape, Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom, which unfortunately means that she’s away from her four-year-old daughter Sophia more often than not. Despite Sophia being in the care of her father, Sophia’s paternal grandmother Stormie Clark, the mother of the late Derek Underwood, has some serious concerns.
“My heart breaks because Farrah hasn’t been focused on Sophia’s needs for a while now,” Stormie reveals to In Touch. “[Farrah] should be getting her daughter ready for kindergarten and teaching her the ABCs. Instead, [she’s] stripping at clubs and selling her porn video. She is all about fame and always will be.”
In addition to her appearances, Farrah has also been traveling the globe to attend events such as awards shows and adult entertainment expos. Just this weekend, Farrah was in Los Angeles where she hosted the EOTM Awards and now, she’s due in Las Vegas. The lifestyle she’s living certainly isn’t a kid friendly one, but for her, that doesn’t seem to mean all that much.
At this point, Farrah seems to have convinced herself that the money she’s making being away from her daughter will be a good thing in the long run, but at what point does she put her foot down? Having the additional income is certainly a positive thing, but it’s not like she needs it. After all, she sold her sex tape for $1.5 million and received a $120,000 royalties check just weeks ago.
It would certainly be nice to see Farrah take a step back and concentrate on her daughter, but if she’s unable and would rather focus on fame, Stormie says she’s more than willing to pick up the slack.
“I would gladly take Sophia,” she says. “What’s going on makes me sick.”
