Frank Ocean Will Pursue Charges Against Chris Brown For Fight Over Parking Spot

R&B singer Frank Ocean is planning on pressing charges against fellow R&B artist Chris Brown following a fight in the parking lot of LA’s Westlake Studio this past weekend.

Ocean says he was injured in the incident and, according to spokesman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff Steve Whitmore, Ocean “is desirous of prosecution in this incident.”

The LAPD released this statement to HollywoodLife.com: “West Hollywood Station deputies are investigating allegations that Chris Brown assaulted and unnamed victim. Deputies responded to a call of six males fighting at the 7200 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood. Upon their arrival, deputies talked to witnesses who stated that Chris Brown and the victim were involved in an altercation over a parking space. The altercation allegedly led to Chris Brown punching the victim. After a brief fight the parties were separated. Chris Brown and his entourage left the location prior the the arrival of deputies. The investigation is ongoing and investigators will contact Brown at a later time.”

This is not great news for Brown, who is serving five years probation for the 2009 assault of on-again, off-again girlfriend Rihanna. These new charges could very well put Brown at risk for revocation of his probation.

Ocean made a statement on Twitter saying: “…now I can’t play with two hands at the grammys.” He is nominated for six Grammys and is scheduled to perform at the awards show February 10.

Brown was also involved in a physical altercation in June of this past year with Young Money rapper Drake, however, no charges were filed.

Some people just don’t get it, and Brown is one of them.
