George Clooney And Stacy Keibler Split
After two years together, George Clooney and Stacy Keibler have split. The pair reportedly had been growing apart for months but after realizing they wanted different things in life, they have officially called off their relationship.
“Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that,” a source close to the couple revealed to People Magazine. “They talked and they quietly stopped being a couple several weeks ago.”
Clooney, 52, and Keibler, 33, who hadn’t been seen together since March, were friends before they split and the source claims they intend to remain friends. ”They talk every day,” the source said. “It was a friendly [breakup].”
Last month, Keibler first sparked rumors of a break-up when she tweeted a Ray Owen quote which read, “Trying times are not the times to stop trying.”
Earlier this month, Keibler attended a Fourth of July bash in Malibu, California without her man and according to an E! News source, she didn’t appear to be too broke up about the split. “Stacy was acting like she didn’t have a care in the world,” the source claimed. “She was having a very good time letting her hair hang loose. She was definitely acting like a single lady.”
Clooney has always been open with the fact that he has no desire to have children or get married and Keibler seemed to be on board with that just months ago. ”That is not on my radar at all,” Keibler told E! in October. “I’m definitely the girl who doesn’t talk about that kind of stuff. I’m not really interested in thinking about marriage or kids at all.”
