Girl Meets World Gets An Older Brother: Teo Halm Cast To Play Corey & Topanga’s Son
The most recent news about the Boy Meets World spin-off, Girl Meets World, back in January was the casting of the on-screen daughter and the daughter’s best friend. Since the show’s called Girl Meets World and is ostensibly told from the viewpoint of characters Corey & Topanga Matthews’ daughter and at no point has there been confirmation of a son, this is a rather surprising development.
The daughter is going to have an older brother who has just been cast. The brother, “Elliot,” is described as “good looking, well built, funny and insightful in his observations. Good hearted except for his dedication toward using Riley as his wrestling practice dummy.”
Danielle Fishel confirmed the casting of relative-newcomer Teo Halm (whose sparse IMDb is yet to reflect the announcement). “I have an announcement to make. I have a gorgeous daughter (@rowblanchard) and a handsome son (@teohalm). @BenSavage and I love you both!!” she wrote. “If having real life children is as hard as finding these two beauties (@rowblanchard & @teohalm) then I think I’m happy with being a TV mom.”
Apparently responding to criticism, Fishel added “Ppl will be mad at me 4 saying this but whatevs. We worked so hard to find the perfect kids. We found them. I love them already. Get ready.”
