Life & Style: Giuliana Rancic, Khloe Kardashian & Kim Zolciak “Baby Joy & Drama”
This is another cookie cutter reality star/ television personality bet hedge from Life & Style Magazine who long since lost their nerve to (regularly) feature one non-reality star alone on the cover. And it’s another pregnancy cover, with three celebrities: Giuliana Rancic (of Giuliana & Bill), Khloe Kardashian (of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and its spin-offs) & Kim Zolciak (of Real Housewives of Atlanta and her spin-off Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding).
The cover says: “Baby Joy & Drama. It’s A Boy: Inside Giuliana’s emotional baby shower; IVF Miracle: Finally, Khloe’s baby dreams comes true; Kim In Tears: Six months pregnant & losing her home.”
* Rancic (who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2011) confirmed this April she’s expecting a baby via surrogate. This weekend, during her baby shower attended by about 100 guests, she revealed she and husband Bill Rancic are having a son.
* Kardashian visited a fertility clinic after months of struggling to fall pregnant.
* Zolciak is pregnant again, expecting another baby with husband Kroy Biermann.
Incidentally, Zolciak denies that she’s being evicted. Landlord Kendra Davis claims Zolciak is squatting, after months of not paying rent, and Davis is trying to evict the reality star. However, Zolciak says she’s been paying rent and the lease is still good. The quarrel reportedly started because Zolciak rented with the intention to buy, only to be informed by an appraiser that the $3 million home has been overvalued by $1 million. Zolciak walked away from the sale, souring her relationship with Davis.
The Rancics appear to have given Life & Style Magazine an interview and exclusive photo access (below) to this Sunday’s baby shower.
It was a double celebration! After kicking off the fabulous festivities at their coed baby shower in Beverly Hills on June 17, Bill Rancic and Giuliana Rancic announced to 100 of their closest family and friends that they’re having a boy…
“It was great to finally share it with everyone,” an emotional Giuliana, 36, shared with Life & Style. “I’ve always wanted a little Bill; my husband is the most gorgeous guy in the world, and I want our baby to look exactly like him!”
“Her brains, my athleticism,” Bill, 41, adds.
The reality couple, who were joined by guests including Melissa Rivers and Lisa Ling, opened a giant box to release dozens of blue balloons after the big reveal.
“We are thrilled beyond belief,” Giuliana adds. “It’s so funny, because since I was a kid I’ve always wanted a boy. But we would not have cared either way.”
Of course, emotions (as well as the Nicolas Feuillatte champagne and OneHope wine) were overflowing as everyone reflected on Giuliana’s struggle with infertility and her recent battle with breast cancer.
“Now that the medical stuff is done, we can focus on the baby,” she said. “Even though I’m not pregnant, I’ve been dreaming about the baby. I had heard that I’d feel a connection, but I didn’t really believe it! I dream of the baby in a blue blanket, and it’s the cutest little boy!”
“Mindy Weiss and my two best friends planned it,” Giuliana says about the party, which even featured a cake (by Cupcakes Couture, of Manhattan Beach, Calif.) that paid tribute to the little boy on the way; it was blue ombré inside! “The shower was exactly what I envisioned. I love anything with a white tent and white sofas, where people can just hang and chill out. Mindy did that. She made the vision come to life.” – via Life & Style Magazine.
