Gorga vs. Giudice: The Fight Takes A Nasty Turn

The feud between The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice is nothing new, but they have reached a new low. Gorga admitted to US Weekly, “We hit rock bottom.”
The families were set for three long days of therapy and workshops. While Giudice wanted to be on good terms with everyone she also refused to admit to something that she did not do. Her refusal to budge on the idea that she was the one who spread stories that Gorga was a stripper and an adulterer was getting old for the Gorgas. The Gorgas grew tired of Teresa only wanting to play nice for the cameras and decided they were going to be 100 percent honest during their therapy sessions.
Sick and tired of listening to Teresa denying spreading any rumors, Joe Gorga exploded and called his sister a “scum.” He explained, “At that moment, I had 10 years of anger and hatred coming out.” After years of verbal abuse between the families, the violence was bound to turn physical. It turned physical fast, as Joe Gorga and Joe Giudice charged at each other. Between punches they screamed expletives until they were pulled apart by the rest of the Housewives cast.
After the eventful evening, everyone retreated back to their rooms for a night of silence. “We needed someone to put her feet down, tell us to shut the f–k up and listen to each other,” said Melissa the next morning. Enter psychologist Venus Nicolino who spoke to Teresa and Joe Gorga individually and together. The siblings finally decided that their constant fighting was draining their energy and wasting their time.
For now, the Giudices and Gorgas are working on trusting one another as they try and navigate their new friendship. Only time will tell if the hatchet is truly buried or if this is going to blow up in their faces. In typical Housewives fashion, my money is on the latter.
