Halle Berry Engaged To Olivier Martinez: Photos Of Engagement Ring

Halle Berry is engaged to Olivier Martinez because two failed marriages and a baby daddy aren’t quite enough drama.

Really though, Martinez  is probably a decent guy who seems to buy into the package of mother and daughter and he stuck by Berry through that weird drama with Gabriel Aubry (the paternity fight, the weird racism and abuse claims, the neglect claims). Berry may have, finally, found someone who’s not a jerk on delayed crazy, 20-years after her first marriage.

Us Weekly is claiming the exclusive on this, although week’s old engagement news/ drama about Jessica Biel’s engagement makes this week’s cover. Star has a source report too, parroted on RadarOnline.com. People.com is “confirming” with a rep from the supposed jeweller of the ring Berry’s been wearing since around New Year’s (photo agency images of the ring start from around January 3).

Olivier, with whom Berry has been for one year, proposed and the emerald-and-diamond ring photos are in the gallery.

Sources tell Us Weekly: “[Halle] had given up on being married, but she trusts Olivier. He makes her feel safe. He’s a keeper!”

Sources for Star claim: “Halle is very serious about this marriage. She’s ready. Olivier has become her rock. Halle feels Olivier has made a connection and a commitment to her and her daughter… Halle would love to have more kids, but she knows it might be difficult because of her age and the fact that she’s diabetic. If they can’t conceive, they’d definitely consider adoption. Deciding to marry again is huge for Halle. But friends have never seen her this happy and fulfilled.”
