Halloween Costume Twitter Photos 2012: LeAnn Rimes, Jessica Simpson, Adrianne Curry & More

The costumes are getting better, the closer it gets to Halloween, since the efforts from earlier in the week look decidedly insipid compared to the photos celebrities have shared on October 31, 2012.
Previously, it was a halfhearted mix of nondescript animal print and generic animal ears and the odd skeleton. But below are photos of some celebrities who went all out. This includes Heidi Klum who shared a new costume despite cancelling her annual New York City Halloween party out of respect for those dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.
* Jessica Simpson was a milkmaid, Eric Johnson appeared to be the Highlander, baby Maxwell Drew Johnson was a rooster and also a monkey.
* Gisele Bundchen shared her Halloween costume on Facebook. She chose to be Cleopatra. As did Heidi Klum who won’t be wearing her look on the red carpet until later this year when she reschedules her party. Bundchen’s look is closer to Elizabeth Taylor’s 1963 version while Klum’s is more theatrical.
* First ever winner of America’s Next Top Model Adrianne Curry dressed as Leeloo Dallas from 1997 movie The Fifth Element and also a character from 1971′s A Clockwork Orange (included is her photo from the Playboy Halloween party).
* Glee’s Chord Overstreet dressed as Brad Pitt from that God awful Chanel commercial.
* Ellen DeGeneres dressed as Sofia Vergara’s wardrobe malfunction at the Emmy Awards.
* LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian dressed as Danny and Sandy from 1978 movie Grease.
* Lauren Conrad dressed as Mary Poppins from the 1964 movie of the same name.
* Miley Cyrus dressed as Nicki Minaj and tweeted: “#@NICKIMINAJ you a stupppppiddddd hoe #stupittttstupitttt”
* Katy Perry dressed as Jane Lane from MTV’s Daria (while a friend dressed as Daria Morgendorffer).
